Folk singer model Jyoti Magar was widely criticized last month after a Teej music video she has acted included some vulgar scenes.After the release of the music video, many Nepalese singers and general audience asked her to quit singing or follow some social dressing codes.Someone even spread the false news that Jyoti was beaten by public in Bajalu Kathmandu for her inappropriate acts in music videos and violating social values which Jyoti has denied.It became a public debate including TV, print medias and social medias weather folk songs should follow traditional style or it should upgrade with the time.It has got mixed reaction but many of them suggested that it's Jyoti's right how she would like to live, if people don't like her songs or music videos they can simply ignore, they can just choose not to watch or listen.
On the other hand Jyoti seems more excited with the media highlights, she has taken it as opportunity to gain more popularity, she knows what she is popular for.That's why she has came up with another hot Teej song called "Nachhchhu ma Chhoto Sareema."
